The Clean 15 and Dirty Dozen Produce of 2017 Click To TweetWhat is the Dirty Dozen and Clean 15?
The Dirty Dozen is a list of the top 12 produce with the highest loads of pesticide residues. For produce on this list, it is highly suggested that you buy organic!!! However, it is highly suggested to not avoid foods on this list as they still contain key nutrients for our bodies. And, remember, if organic produce is too expensive or unavailable, fresh produce is always better than processed!
The Clean 15, however, is a list of produce that is least likely to have pesticide residue. But, even if you do purchase from this list, make sure you still wash your produce and store it correctly!
