Self-confidence is absolutely key to getting yourself in better health. Your mental and emotional health definitely affects your physical health. But, you can also create your own mantra to help you on your journey!

1) Think of your past achievements.
Make a list of things you have achieved or are proud of in the past year. What worked? Why? How did you achieve it? How did it make you feel? Think of the positivity.
2) Make a list of your failures.
Make a list of your failures from this past year. Why did you fail at them? What can you do to fix them? What new strategy or paradigm can you create to achieve your original goals? Don’t dwell on the negative–try to turn them into a future positive.
3) Think positively.
Summarize each achievement and failure. Circle the most positive words or phrases or ideas out of this list of achievements and failures.
4) Listen to your heart.
Look over what you have just written and circled. Mull it over. Listen to your heart. What really stands out to you? What is pulling you? Rephrase it into a positive phrase. Repeat it over and over and see if it works.
5) Live it.
Write your new mantra down. Post it all over your house. Put it on social media. Be creative and make it look good. Read it, say it, and think about it numerous times a day. Live it.
By doing this, you will have created your own personal mantra that is just for you. But, remember, you can always change it if you want or need a new focus!
