Wake up, look in the mirror, pinch my stomach fat, & curse myself for eating like crap the day before. Then, I would step on the scale, and wish I could be anyone but myself though tears.
I entered college at 116 pounds left freshman year at 130. Grad school came around and in 2011, I got up to 146 pounds (I’m 5’2). I was disgusted with myself and I literally cried EVERY morning staring at myself in the mirror. The thing is, I could have been 100 pounds and I still would have hated myself. I had no identity, all that defined me was the number on the scale and the awful mean thoughts I told myself ALL DAY ERRYDAY. “You’re fat and worthless” “No one will ever want someone that looks like you” I could go on and on, but just know it was bad.
I met my husband and he SLOWLY taught me how to love myself by telling me all day everyday that I WAS MORE THAN ENOUGH for him. He made me feel beautiful for the first time in probably 10 years. I started watching my portions, exercising regularly, and the weight SLOWLY started to come off.
But, the real changes in my body started showing about a year 1/2 ago when I started using this 3 Week Fitness and Nutrition bootcamp. I now understand what kind of food and how much to put in my body. I now know that I don’t need carbs with EVERY meal and that 4 bananas a day is a bit excessive lol. I do 30 minute workouts from home and finally see some ab definition. I don’t have a 6 pack and I don’t care. I am confident, I am strong, I am beautiful, and I am looking for other ladies who are TIRED of hating themselves. I know how much control your thoughts have over your life. I’m here to help, I know this bootcamp works, I’m living proof. If motivation is an issue for you, I want to be here to push you everyday.
