Many people become daunted by being told or suggested to live a holistic lifestyle…it’s scary, it’s tough, it’s a big commitment and change. But, that’s actually a lie. Living a holistic lifestyle is easier than you think! Here are some simple ways to ease into a holistic lifestyle.

Drink more water.
Try to drink at least 8 whole cups of water a day. The more water you drink, the less hungry you’ll be, the better you’ll be able to think and feel, the more energized you’ll be, and the less headaches you’ll get.
Eat a healthy breakfast.
Breakfast is the most important meal of the day. Don’t skip it. Don’t eat junk food. Have a healthy, full breakfast and you’ll be more full of energy for the day.
Get fresh air!
Get outside! Natural Vitamin D will really help your mood, mind, and body. Take a walk, read a book in your yard, go swimming while it’s still summer, go hunt some Pokemon with Pokemon Go!
Spend 5 minutes a day meditating.
Whether you are religious or spiritual or not, meditating is a proven way to improve both physical and mental health. Just take 5 minutes to sit in a quiet area and reflect. Focus inwardly–how are you emotionally today, how do you want to be emotionally? What are you grateful for? What positivity can you add in your life? This is an inward exercise.
Focus on being positive.
Create your own mantra. Think before you speak–try to say only positive things. Compliment people–compliment yourself! Make a gratitude list.
Eat more veggies and fruits.
Try to have some veggies and fruits every day. Try to find ways to incorporate them into every meal or snack!
Of course, as you ease in, you can start doing more holistic things and in greater depth and detail. But, start easy. Transition slowly. Remember, you are changing your lifestyle and that takes time.
