Christmas time. Yikes. Time to put on the pounds! Yikes! But, why should we set ourselves up for failure come the New Year when we resolve to lose weight? Why not eat healthy and smart during the holidays? That’s what I intend to do. I’m really wanting to get rid of this pregnancy weight and treat my body like it deserves. So, I’m rounding up some great recipes that are 21 Day Fix approved!
#1 Apple Pecan Stuffing
What a delicious alternative to apple or pecan pie! I can taste the cinnamon and nutmeg just looking at this picture!!
#2 Blueberry French Toast Casserole
This is a perfect Christmas morning breakfast! The best thing about French Toast Casseroles are that they can be made the night before, so all you have to do in the morning is pop them in the oven while you open presents!
#3 Lemon Rosemary Roasted Chicken
Rather than go out and buy a sugary, fat-filled ham for Christmas dinner, think outside the box and try this roasted chicken. Roasting is a great, healthy way to cook rather than frying or sauteeing.
#4 Parmesan Peas with Pancetta and Shallots
Doesn’t this just look like Christmas with the bright green? Such a fresh and light side to have with your Christmas feast.
#5 Citrus Daiquiri
Whoever said the 21 Day Fix can’t be indulgent? Enjoy the festivities this holiday with this approved daiquiri!
#6 Pecan Pie
Yes! The best, most iconic holiday pie is now 21 Day Fix approved! So delicious!
#7 Red Velvet Mini Cupcakes
So yummy! Need I say anymore?
#8 Chocolate Peanut Balls
Just like buckeyes, only 21 Day Fix approved! How perfect! I could eat all of these!
#9 Gluten Free Cinnamon Rolls
Another perfect option for Christmas breakfast. Decadent cinnamon rolls that are gluten-free and guilt-free! Have a wonderful holiday morning!
#10 Shakeology Hot Chocolate
What could be more perfect on Christmas Eve then sitting around the fireplace, listening to Christmas carols, and sipping on some Shakeology hot chocolate?
